If that’s what DDS utterly err “otherly” stands for, it contradictorily insinuates both ways: “D” as in “the” for “the effective” way or “D” as in “‘di” (contraction of “hindi”) for “hindi effective”. And when put together, it’s Defective yet effective in so many other ways among DDS themselves. For the DDS, nothing’s wrong with whatever contention they stand for even if it contradicts their co-DDS’s belief. More so, even if it counters a sensible standpoint from a non-DDS. Their belief is prioritized first more than common sense, that is, if the latter is even considered. Ask any non-DDS and they’d most likely say, they are yet to encounter an intelligent point of view from a DDS. The problem is, for the DDS, their viewpoint is what’s intelligent. As a matter of fact and of impertinence actually, they’d audaciously call your opposing perception with a clashing rebuttal.

Another problem is, among non-DDS, they see this whole polarity as “opposite poles far between but not as approximate as opposites attract” kind of thing. Polarizing enough, it’s a Filipino to Filipino sort of “magnetic repulse”. It just won’t connect… On the other hand, it’s like how DDS get magnetized and swayed like sand. And the sand just synchronizingly follows… They’re fighting for what either one believes to be the basis of “their” truth. It’s actually a contradiction of the kind of intelligence they claim to possess. More than indifference, there’s that Oppressive Abhorrence for each other wherein Opinions and Astuteness seem to be based on Odium and Animosity regardless of the other party’s probable notable Opposing Argument (that’s how “OA” it is). Either way, it’s blinding. Even a good deed by either one will most likely be brushed off, as much as doubted. Non-DDS find it hard to believe a considerable take from a DDS… Take a look at the case of Mayor Benjie Magalong (one believed to be a DDS despite him disclaiming it and the contradicting facts people aren’t even aware of), his worthwhile efforts to unlock the door to a possible opportunity for us to be presented with answers for a start at least, unfortunately, cancel culture and our pride get the best of us. The problem with us people is that it’s easier for us to lay claim with some truth to it (say for example) how our parents say we’re good looking even if the obvious presents otherwise… “Pangit!” That’s an ugly truth. We have our bias… Magalong’s deemed DDS-association by non-DDS refutes his truth no matter how reliable it may be… The Philippines as partially projected by factional Filipinos, as it may appear, have no room for objectivity, justice and redemption except for one’s own gain. We’ve become an unforgiving society, yet ironically forgiving towards allies. Then again, it’s that “DDS effect”.

DDS have been stereotyped as out to lunch if we are to rather put it benignly. Ironically conflicting, so it seems, is that DDSs aren’t aware of such DDS allusions pertaining to their idiocy, irrationality among other negativities. They see it as an attack on the level of their discernment; an attack on life’s fundamental reality. A comprehension they believe is that of right-minded standards. Then all of a sudden, they’re the victim of bullying. Their blind fanaticism puts the protagonist (the Dutertes) behind their idolatry worth their diehard support on top of the totem pole as the “goat”. (Even above ‘The Lamb’ or those they’d subject as sacrificial lambs below their command). True enough, it’s been a scapegoat of some sort however “against themselves” and some core principles as if a sacrificial turpitude they’re willing to undergo and be subjected to for self-victimization for all the potential supporters’ empathy/sympathy’s worth. Their ability to condition minds as if they’re one with the majority is but a numbers game they’re playing quite intelligently. They’ve condescendingly manifested the lack of common sense and self-contradiction in so many instances but have maintained their self-proclaimed truth in as many times. Thus, to regard them as b*b*, 8080, t@ng@, stup!d, etc., it looks like an initiated calculated likelihood to make it appear how they’re the ones being bullied, the ones being looked down upon which is meant to trigger a chain of empathic-sympathetic reactions and support from the masses they similarly deem as simpletons.

Isn’t it “dumbfounding” how there aren’t any true-blue (or true-green) DDS who’s forthright defending Mayor Magalong? More so from the likes of Trillanes whom DDSs despise so much? Because they know he is not. Because Magalong’s alliance could also be traced to their political rivals. He may support or even defend some Duterte causes but it doesn’t make him “diehard”. He has DDS “friends”, sure (as much as he has Marcos loyalists/apologists, dilawan, kakampink friends), yet it’s what they’re capitalizing on by appeasing him with what they’re hoping for to be what may eventually spare them of Magalong’s potential “impartial” kind of hardcore nonalignment approach in his no-nonsense governance and investigation… Magalong has already learned from being a subject of political persecution fighting for ideologies. Due diligence and timing are considerable factors in a similar scandalous divulgence. Why would Magalong even disclose his findings to Trillanes without disclosing it to other concerned vital forces given the severity of the whole exposé? Chances are, such classified information has likewise been divulged and entrusted to more weighty authorities which could also have reached the implicated entities (for a possible worked up counter claim). Trillanes’ gung-ho approach and his personal partiality against Duterte is once again on full display… Magalong’s strategic yet apparently withholding exposé may actually backfire on him (which is what’s happening) but it’s actually more complicated than it being comprehensible among the general public as to how every move is politically motivated and played. And in doing so, Magalong isn’t as crafty as the DDS or the Dutertes themselves in selling out the truth. Thus, in their probable deliberate lying to achieve their ulterior motives, Magalong gets left behind in the sense that they’ll let the unfounded “illusory truth” (Magalong being a DDS) work for them ‘til it serves them right. In this case, it works for them how Magalong seems to be connected to “their cause” in the uncovering of corruption thus far exposing their oppositionists. Until Mayor Magalong proves otherwise… Until non-DDSs prove they’re as sensible as they’re believed to be… Until such time it’ll likewise disclose anomalies from DDS’ end, they’d be as “D’effective” as they are “intel-ligent” till then.

Yet for another instance as much as another DDS “ingenious aptitude” worth looking into, what may have appeared “defective” as far as their call for FPRDD’s interim release, it may have been the intention all along. They’re knowledgeable enough to ironically know the “rule of law” they’re “hoping to be bent” yet informed as well of ICC’s unbending implementation of it, thus, whatever result it may be decided on, they might as well capitalize on it either way. They’re experts on duplicitous politicking nonetheless. If that’s even to be graded in the school of politicking, they’re “D‘ D’ lister Smarty-pants”. Looks like they’ve anticipated the rejection as some latitude to exploit their own victimhood. They knew all along how it’ll trigger guilt-tripping indignation (make that “In Digs Nation”). Cunningly assertive in their “Tatay Digs” nation given their belief that they have the numbers to side with them and dominate the electorate. When numbers are rather weaponized over honor and integrity, their brainpower is used to psych the non-DDSs’ vulnerability… They’re capitalizing on loopholes and the vagueness of laws to debunk their non-DDS enemies’ faculty and competence. Like “AC/DC” (Allan “Channeling Duterte” Cayetano), they’re playing the field to possibly make their oppositionists believe they are “better” however point out their inaccuracies and present them as condescendingly discriminating (superior/“mapagmataas”) to the general public. Now, we probably know where Mayor Magalong, likewise a good soldier, is tactically coming from and how he rather not   be used… Whereas, the DDS are gaining the “best” of both worlds and probably get away “with high honors” in the field of “D’ D-effective System”.
